Raptor Rehabilitation

This bird above is a fledging American Kestrel, North America's smallest
falcon. She was found in the parking lot of a brass factory in Romulus, being
attacked by several robins. She wasn't able to fly yet, and was kept for three
weeks until she could fly well. She is now released and hunting on her own, but
she still occasionally stops by Dr. Smyth's house for a free meal of (dead) mice.
